OK, so apparently there has been a little confusion about when the league, CUJO (Chicago Ultimate Juniors Organization,) actually begins play. The league begins on March 26th. That is NOT the second week of spring break as T. Tao once may have mentioned. you will need to find your own way up for the spring break games. I'm sorry, but that's the way it is. I hope to see you all there Don't forget we need $25.00 for the entry fee (it is acceptable to pay the first week of play as well,) and $25.00 for a jersey (you can get that money to any one of the captains and it will find its way into the right hands.) The former is not optional, so I hope you have the funds to play; if not the club MAY have a little to spare, so don't be afraid to ask. The latter however is up to you - an extra fee will be made available later to customize jerseys with names and such. This is a really intense league with a lot of heavy competition, so I hope everyone gets focused over the next week; giving it your all is all we can do now. For those of you who have been doing just that at practice, good job; it shows. For those of you that have been holding back for whatever reason - you know who you are - I can only hope you will step it up in the last week before the tourney. This team has great potential, but we can only be as strong as our weakest member. Speaking of which, there is a constantly fluctuating roster that will be used to determine who gets seats on the bus; those seats will go to the 14 players that show the most resolve at practice of the prior week (with excuses understood.) That might sound a little harsh, and some of you may not get seats, but it is the only way that would be fair to the majority of the team (if you can find your own ride up to the field you will still be able to play; there is a train station within a mile of the field for those seeking an alternate mode of travel.) I wish you all the best of luck, and let's do all we can to win this thing!

-Downey & T.Tao (although all I did was turn Downey's talk into a table, heh)

Intermural Tournament

IMSA plays in the Chicago Ultimate Juniors Organization League, High School Division, every spring. There's only been one, seeing as that D.Duong and T.Tao founded the club last year. We were named rookies of the year, but this time around, we're going to be one of the big names. Why? Because we only lost one senior, and we're going to pick up tons of potentially awesome sophomores. Plus, our team will be more cohesive, more experieneced, and ready to blast our way to the top. For more information about last year or about next year, feel free to e-mail ttao@imsa.edu with all your questions.
