The build season
Our first build season was in 2007, and it was very difficult. We had to deal with a lot of adversity. Since IMSA is a residential school and students are not allowed cars on campus, we had to wait until an adult was available to take us shopping for parts. We did not have any mentors and only a few parent volunteers were available to help us. Security didn't let us work on the robot unless we had an adult supervisor. etc.
